Christ Church, Nacogdoches, sent a team of eight youth and two adults to Nairobi, Kenya for a two-week mission trip in June. Led by the Rev. On June 17, 12 high school students and three adults from St. Christopher's, League City, left for San Diego, California, on a mission trip that covered rural towns in the surrounding area.

St. Andrew's, Bryan, is currently on a mission trip in Arizona, facilitating a Vacation Bible School in Navajoland. The mission team includes Texas A&M veterinary students who are volunteering at a clinic. The team is also helping with repairs to Good Shepherd Mission in Fort Defiance, Ariz.

Ten new Episcopal Church missionaries, all representing different dioceses, are either on their way, or are about to embark, to mission placements located in eight international locations.
