Churches Across Texas Hosts Summer Concerts

Summer music series are heating the Episcopal landscape across Texas. Check out some the events coming up in your area:

 

St. Matthew's, Austin, Continues Soul of a Musician Series
St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and Spicewood Tavern will provide one more concert before a six-week break. These concerts are an intimate musical encounter with some of Austin’s finest musicians in the setting of a full service restaurant and bar. Click here to learn more.

 

Jazz Festival at All Saints, Stafford, July 6
All Saints will host a Jazz Festival on Saturday, July 6 from noon to 7 p.m. benefitting the All Saints Music Program. The program will feature Andre Heyward, Bill Murray, Mary Ellen Rogers, Leo “The Voice” Polk, Artis Turner, Art Fristoe, Kyle Turner, and local jazz ensembles. Tickets are a $20 donation and a Jazz Workshop will be offered for an additional $10. St. David's, Austin, Hosts "TOO DARN HOT: Cool Takes on Classic Jazz and Broadway" on July 10
St. David’s Episcopal Church, 301 East 8th St., is hosting a Summer music series. The next performance will take place on Wednesday, July 10, at 7 p.m. Music for the evening will be “TOO DARN HOT: Cool Takes on Classic Jazz and Broadway featuring Kara Bliss, Austin Haller, and Friends. Tickets are available on the Concerts page at www.stdave.org. Free parking in the St. David’s garage. Proceeds benefit St. David’s music ministry.
