El Buen Samaritano is an institution of the Diocese of Texas, providing health-care, education and financial security services to families in Central Texas. This week, they released their annual report, highlighting their 25th year of service to the community.

The report includes stories of families who have benefitted from El Buen's programs as well as upcoming events and projects. Find the report and watch a video here.

In the 2011-2012 year, El Buen served 12,000 individuals, including more than 6500 at the Wallace Mallory Clinic. Another 1387 individuals participated in the Adult Education Program and the El Buen food pantry received more than 5,000 visits.

"Today, El Buen Samaritano does more than feed the hungry," writes board president Rudy Soto in the report. "We have continually developed our organization's capabilities in response to the expressed needs of our community to provide a safe environment with access to high quality health care, educational opportunities, and financial security services."
