El Buen Samaritano Family Featured in New, Free 'Be Well Book'

Emilia, a mother who is active at south Austin's El Buen Samaritano, is featured in a new book called A Year of Being Well: Messages from Families on Living Healthier Lives. Emilia tells the story of her family becoming physically active and learning healthy habits through programs at El Buen. The book, which is available for free, is a joint venture of the Alliance for a Healthier Generation and the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation.

El Buen Samaritano Episcopal Mission provides health-care, education and financial security services to families in Central Texas, helping to transform lives as well as the community. "Go and find you El Buen Samaritano in your community," says Emilia.
