More than 800 Episcopalians from around the Diocese of Texas came out to Minute Maid Park to watch the Housotn Astros take on the Los Angeles Angels on June 28 for the annual Episcopal Night at the Ballpark. Many stopped by Christ Church Cathedral before the game for free hotdogs, popcorn and drinks.

Before the game began, Bishop Suffragan Jeff Fisher threw out the first pitch and Episcopalian Elisha Jordan, a member of St. Francis, Houston, sang a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem. The Astros would go on to lose the game, but many stayed to watch the free fireworks show that followed the game.
