Carole Seabrooke, a member of St. John's, Silsbee, was recently named Citizen of the Year by the Silsbee Chamber of Commerce. Seabrooke, a retired school teacher, volunteers for a number of organizations. At St. John's, she serves on the Altar Guild, on the Flower Guild, as secretary of our ECW, and as a vestry member.

"She keeps up flowerbeds at the church, and helps with kitchen detail after our First Sunday Lunches; she does all these things quietly and with a smile," said Mary Ruhland, who sent the story in to the Diocese.
