Purls & Prayers Group Knits 60 Winter Caps for Houston Homeless

Members of the Purls & Prayers Group at Trinity Episcopal Church, The Woodlands, knitted more than 60 caps to be distributed by Lord of the Streets (LOTS) Ministry to the homeless in Houston. The Rev. Gerry Sevick blessed the hats before they were distributed.

Purls & Prayers meet weekly year round to knit and crochet lap robes and shawls for comfort to those facing illness or any adversity. These items have been distributed not only to church members but to patients in the hospital and nursing homes and to the VA hospital in Houston.

The members of this group enjoy getting together and having fun while doing good. They feel as blessed during the making of these items as do the recipients upon receiving them.
