St. Andrew's and Raindrop Turkish House Host Interfaith Dinner

Turkish HouseSt. Andrew’s, Bryan, participated in an interfaith meal and dialog with the Raindrop Turkish House representatives in July.

The mission of Raindrop is to introduce Turkish culture into American society and cultivate friendship and promote the understanding of diverse cultures through its unique services to the community, through dialog and corporation. Raindrop Turkish House is a non-profit, educational, charitable, social and cultural organization founded by Turkish-Americans in Houston in 2000 and now it operates in seven states.

St. Andrew's rector, the Rev. Sean Cox, gave a presentation about his parish and the Episcopal Church, and St. Andrews members and the hosts discussed future collaborative opportunities such as the Interfaith Habitat for Humanity project this fall.
