St. Paul's, Katy, Offers Free Coffee, Wifi to Parents

At St. Paul's, Katy, WWW is not just the start of a web address. WWW stands for Wednesdays While Waiting, a program that opens the church to parents waiting to pick up their children from Zelma Elementary School, across the street.

Every day, starting more than 30 minutes before student pick-up, the carpool line forms down Franz Road. Now, there is an alternative to just waiting in the car as neighbors are invited on Wednesdays to park in the St. Paul's parking lot and wait in the parish hall while enjoying free wi-fi and coffee.

"Parents can enjoy the comforts of being indoors and the building of community," said rector, the Rev. Chris Duncan. "This new ministry is about providing a place for neighborhood fellowship that reaches beyond the walls of St. Paul’s."
