Thanks to a generous gift of $2.7 million from the Moody Foundation, Trinity Galveston has now opened the Robert L. and Ann Moody Activity Center.

The Moody family as well as Galveston Mayor Lewis Rosen were in attendance at the ribbon cutting. The schools cheerleaders performed before a procession of the sports teams, and the choir also sang.

Less than 4 years ago, Trinity School and Church were devastated along with most of Galveston from the effects of Hurricane Ike. Since that time, the community and Trinity have recovered together, and now, with the school's first gym and activity center, the school can focus on expanding their impact throughout the community.
