The Episcopal Health Foundation (EHF) is offering Mental Health First Aid trainings, to be held in various EDOT parishes. The training is an eight-hour course that is designed to equip people with the tools necessary to help someone who is experiencing a mental health crisis. It is free to participants. Mental health issues are common, but can be very difficult to address. This video, produced by the Hope and Healing Center of Houston, offers basic information about mental illness along with suggestions for addressing mental health issues in appropriate ways.
