At a time when many high-schoolers were preparing for lavish high school proms, the youth of St. Andrew's, Pearland, decided sponsor a different kind of prom for special needs alumni from schools in Pearland and Alvin.
Across the Diocese of Texas on April 26, Episcopalians gathered to share a meal and their faith stories, and in the process, many found new insight from their church community. The event, dubbed Sharing Faith Dinners, took place at 250 venues with more than 1300 participants.
Earlier this year, we reported that Trinity Episcopal School in Galveston received a $2.7 million grant from the Moody Foundation to build a new gym. The new facility will be named the Robert L. and Ann Moody Activity Center.
